There’s 0 reason to panic. We’re taking in draws we’d used to be losing, and we’ve been on the end of key injuries and key ref decisions that have literally taken points off the board for us. We created clear cut chances to win this game and between lack of luck, great goalkeeping, and inability to finish those few chances we didn’t comfortably win.

I am chilled as I’ve ever been, this is a process and we continue to build, even if a game like today can leave us annoyed at 2 points dropped - trust the club to learn and grow at every opportunity.

 I'm actually quite impressed with us. Didn't expect to play like this, this past week. At full strength I saw us having around 8 points by now at best. The fact we've got 7 and were robbed by 2 potentially 3 is impressive.

Just hope it's more SAGE Gateshead than Segrada Familia.

Draw specialists. 1 win in 6. Ouch

Full team out/farcical refereeing not occurring and we win 4 of them. Draws against Brighton and City. You could even argue with the Wilson disallowed goal and Schar pen we could have won all 6

I'm in the pro-Willock camp.... just.

I totally understand why people get frustrated with him, sometimes he seems to go missing, sometimes he runs down blind alleys but I think his overall contribution gets him by.

He presses the ball well, carrys the ball forward well and gets into the box all the time. The issue is that his game is entirely dependent on end product. You can deal with him going missing when he's popping up with goals every now and then but right now, when the side needs him, he's fluffing his lines.

What I will say, is that there are some senior players who aren't exactly putting in numbers either, Almiron, Fraser, Wood need to step up to the plate.

Good thing for us is that Willock is a good alrounder, who will fetch a decent fee when we want to sell. Which we will if he doesn't get back on the score sheet.

I trust the club but I dont trust those bent cunts at the Premier League. After what I've seen this season,  I'm convinced that NUFC will not be allowed to finish higher than 10th by Masters and his bunch of corrupt cohorts.

Willock is a pale shadow of the player we had on loan and kept us in the prem.

I don’t see any passion from him.He looks like someone who wishes he was elsewhere and won’t give a toss until he is elsewhere.£20m wasn’t it? ? It’s a worry that Eddie decided to keep him on after showing absolutely nothing all game.

Isn't that a fake quote?

Why didn’t he say it when he was a ref?

The game wasn't too dissimilar to match up here last season.

Both teams had decent spells, but I'd say between the disallowed goal and Isak's miss, we probably should have taken the points.

It wasn't the greatest performance, but we were always going to have to dig in after the same eleven put in a massive shift at Anfield on Wednesday.

You always want to win your home games, but we didn't lose, minus our two most creative players. It was neither good nor a disaster really.

Willock slating seems mostly based on getting him out the team to replace him with Anderson.

He's not perfect but he's not as bad as people are making out.

He’s worse than people have been making out.Go back a week or so and you’ll see some on here wanting him to be given a chance in other positions ,as if he’s going to come good. We’re struggling because we’re basically carrying him.Did you see more from Anderson in the few minutes he was on the pitch than Willock has produced this season? Serious question.

Viera trolling.

Vieira said: "After looking at the images after the game, I thought that was the right decision from the referee.

"Was there a push? No, not at all. I think if there is not a Newcastle player then our goalkeeper will get the ball. That contact of course had a massive impact on the goal. That’s why I believed it was the right decision from the referee."

I mean I feel like that with most situations and goals we concede. If there isn't an opposition player there I'm pretty confident Pope will get the ball.

If ever you needed evidence someone spent a large portion of their career under the tutelage of Arsene Wenger.

You have a weird hard on for defending him. This guy is terrible. I'm just reacting to what I'm watching every game.

You on the other hand have absolutely no basis for defending his play. Are you a relative of his or something? I don't understand man.

It’s not as if his stats on goals scored, assists and chances created aren’t telling the full story. He’s missed two absolute sitters this season don’t forget.
