Presumably he'll laugh it off and say that regardless of the injuries they were ill-prepared for this season just as he did when Newcastle's injury woes were put to him on Sunday. Christ, didn't realise he'd said that. We had 2+ good options for every position, and only a handful had shown signs of being injury prone (Wilson, Isak, Targett). He basically ignored the reality of the situation so he could shoehorn his "I did say at the start of the season that they would struggle with the extra games" point in.
