Maybe city have been sussed out.

I don't think so but the style they play does rely on extreme counter pressing and using the ball in a way whereby they can recover some energy.

When the press is off as it is today it looks rank. The players just dont have the legs for it they are way off.

If/when Pep leaves at some point, my money is on Arteta to replace him. Came through the City managerial system, Pep’s good friend, and got Arsenal back in the top four. Based on what City did when they first got the money and cleared Arsenal out, I fear they could take Saka, too.

Harchester Utd barely recovered after their captain was shot lifting the FA Cup by a sniper hiding in the stands.

Anyone know if you can watch the series anywhere?

Why would you fear that as a Newcastle fan?

Yea, fear is probably the wrong word but I think they’ll tempt him. Also, I just don’t like City and it may be going wrong right now, but at some point they will splash the cash and become a juggernaut again.

I don't think Pep would get sacked this season but I do think he might walk, he looks shell shocked, he is having major problems motivating this team and Haaland looks very average

Haaland has always been a poor footballer

He's a top striker but he relies on chances being created for him and he's getting absolutely nothing at this moment

Chelsea were rank the season after they won the league, lost 9 games in 16 before Mourinho got sacked

They were still winning in the Champions League so probably never felt as bad as this

Was that the season where they finished 10th when Leicester won the league, so they bought Kanté from the league winners and then went 10th to winning the league next season?

That's the one

Mourinho got sacked, Hiddink came in and stabilised them

Then they got Conte and Kante in the summer and won the league

I think 6 league titles in 7 years or whatever it is, plus the recent treble probably buys you atleast one really bad season even for an "elite" club.

However I did always wonder at what point a wobble might occur, they kept letting players go and not replacing even last year when they flogged Mahrez and a bunch of others. Plus letting Palmer go just as he was breaking through.

But this season the combo of losing Rodri, De Bruyne not being the level he used to be, aging players like Walker and Bernardo and maybe selling Alvarez seems to have been a step to far.

He possibly got arrogant or perhaps with all the legal stuff in the background they were trying to bring in as much money as possible. Either way they have probably built up a substantial amount of PSR room to go mental if they wanted to this January.

Random point here but I’m quite enjoying Foden being shit. Whinged, pulled his face and pointed fingers all summer for England when he was awful himself.

What a scummy goal.

Foden been so anonymous.

If he can't get it on the half turn for a shot, he doesn't really seem to do much else.

Was that Foden’s first league goal?
