I suppose that's as good as can be expected with them fixtures. Southampton was always a write off against Chelsea.

Once again, a completely unpredictable middle pack.

We can trust others to slip up, we just need to go and grab as many points as we can.

Like us, Villa fans are learning how it feels to qualify for the riches of the CL, but then realising there's rules in place to crush your ambitions and you're not allowed to grow your squad to cope.

I’d argue their form this season hasn’t been much related to UCL and just been outright poor inconsistency. Not had multiple key injuries, still signed multiple players in January. Overall to date it’s been a good season for them, going far in UCL, in a domestic cup and still got a good chance of Europe next season.

Next 2 months will shape if it moves into great or poor season.

@Disco  No one immediately under suspicion here, right?

Stories in The Sun always leave me feeling a bit of a doubting Thomas tbh and to be frank, I'd hate to speculate on such a disturbing case.

So you're speculating it's Thomas Frank? 🙃

Pretty much perfect results for us yesterday?

Not really. Southampton (even if extremely unlikely) and Wolves winning would have clearly been far better than Chelsea and Fulham respectively. You could argue Brighton drawing would have been more preferable as more points would have been dropped, but if there had to be a winner, Brighton was better. Palace beating Villa was good though, so more of a mixed bag really.

Just saw that Cannes, playing in the French 4th tier, qualified for the Semis of the Coupe de France yesterday! Love a good underdog story, me :aww: Hope they avoid PSG in the Semis and get to the final.
