It's always been 'how dare anyone want to leave us to go somewhere else? Who's bigger than us?' It's even more pronounced when the player in question is a local lad obviously. They just have no concept of humility and understanding that other people may not hold them in the sky-high esteem they hold themselves in, they've always had this superiority complex about their team.
