Just been watching bits from the Man Utd game.

Wan Bissaka was terrorising them as a left wing back for West Ham [emoji38]

Lost count of the number of players that left there and turn into twice the player elsewhere.

Crazy.

Waiting until his contract is over so he can leave on a free is a little dirty i think. Especially when he has had such a long career there.

They paid nowt for him and why should he give up money so FSG can bank it?

Just seen the offside goal Palace scored against Spurs with the offending players feet planted in his own half

How anyone can be for these current offside rules is beyond me.

Over 130 years of professional football in this country and only since VAR has been introduced have such incidents been deemed offside.

Before he left Arsenal I thought Nketiah had something about him and given the chance had the potential to be a good goal scorer.

He doesnt.

Arsenal love mugging off palace.

Nketiah, chamakh, Sanogo

Really bad isn't it.

Tonight's is practically a dead rubber, which is a shame for a neutral.

Leicester hate Forest - it's the worst time to play them in my opinion because for Leicester, knowing that they could derail their champions league dreams is too good an opportunity to turn down.

Its not as easy fixture as you all are making out. Foxes will be gunning for it to give them something to cheer about!

Howay man Leicester are absolutely shite. Derby or not I think we’re clutching at straws if we’re thinking it’s gonna’ be anything other than a routine/comprehensive Forest win.

Yeah, Leicester are the least athletic side in the league. Forrest will batter them with their physicality and speed.

Whenever I hear Bristol City it always reminds me of Brian Tinnion from Stanley who played for us and them.

Sheffield United coming back is so boring. Hopefully Coventry and come back against the mackems and win the final. Doubt it though.

I don't mind the Blades, but would love to see Cov back in the PL. After losing so unfortunately in the play-off final in 2023 and being cheated out of an FA Cup final in 2024, they deserve a break on the third time of asking.

I'm with you all,I'm sick of Sheffield United with their yoyo pish. Sunderland for me so we can have a good old laugh as we pump them and watch other teams pump them too.GIF by MOODMAN

Fucking pathetic from Bristol City, that.

Is that all the Champo has to offer? Relegated PL sides will be cleaning up the automatic promotion spots for years at this rate.

Realistically considering how bad Bristol City have been and how often that team that finishes in that position actually manages to get promoted. How about scrapping the play offs and making whoever finishes 3rd in the championship have a two legged game against whoever finishes 18th in the Premier League.

Would be interesting to see how often the Championship team in 3rd is better than the Prem team in 18th.

Go further. 3 up 3 down and 4th&5th top play 4th&5th bottom either 2 legs or 1 neutral final to swap or keep places.

Think that's done in some European leagues like thr Bundesliga iirc. I don't have a problem if the 18th placed Prem team were any good or atleast a good day out for away fans to visit again. But imagine it was fucking Southampton again and they beat Coventry. Fuck going down to their place again for a 1230pm Saturday game or 8pm Monday night football in December to play the shittest of the shittest.

Nah you can't have a 24 team league without play-offs that go at least down to 6th IMO.

The play-offs aren't really for the excitement of the play offs themselves (although that is fun), it's to keep the league active from January onwards for the middle of the league. If only the top 3 go up you basically have loads of teams with no chance of going up and no chance of going down for half the season. The play-offs are great for keeping things active, reducing dead rubbers and make the Championship a much more interesting league in general.

They have the relegation play off in Germany (16th Vs 3rd) and it is shit. The Bundesliga team always wins (12 out of 15 occasions I believe since it was introduced in 2009) because they're much stronger. It would be even worse in the PL because of the financial gulf - you'd basically just be making it even harder for teams to go up and reduce it to effectively two up/two down.
