The list is huge really but ultimately it comes down to it no longer being the TV mega-event it was before football was on our screens all day every day.

Don't think I'll lose too much sleep if Palace won it, but their "Ultras" can collectively stick that fucking drum up their arse. 

 

Know it's been mentioned umpteen times, but it's just sad to see the FA Cup being kicked to the back of the cupboard. Suppose at least it's not competing with premier league football today so that's at least something, but bet there are football fans who don't even realise that it's today.

I know of at least three who were rather surprised by this news. 🙄 (None of them were Mags at least!)

Yeah, lad at work was the same. Just seen that it's on both BBC and ITV so at least that means it should get a decent audience. It's coverage on terrestrial TV is the one thing which is keeping the competition semi relevant.

Do we not want a City to win today so that we're guaranteed a minimum of Europa League? I know it's almost certain for us anyway, but I'd rather it was in the bag after last season.

Should Palace win today and Forest win their last 2 games to finish ahead of Chelsea, and all other results go as expected would that leave Chelsea reliant on winning the Conference League just to get into the Europa?

 

Trying to find an argument for rooting for Palace today, would make it a more interesting final plus fuck City. Bad enough to have to spend yesterday evening shouting for their neighbours.

Fuck Crystal Palace.

All that time telling us Pardew was a great manager before he rocked up there.

Telling us our support was shite as they held up 1 flag and banged a drum.

Their owner trying to block our takeover, and voting for rules to prevent us from taking off.

Straight on to the bandwagon to have a go at us once we got our takeover, but never said a peep when it was revealed that they were linked to Saudi money.

 

Fuck them, this is a sliding doors moment for them. They have spent the last 10+ years being an advert of teams who come up and do nothing but exist for the Premier League money. They have some talented players, and a decent manager. A cup win and European football could see them take off a bit more from where they are, a loss and everyone likely has a price and their manager sooner or later gets a better offer elsewhere.

Fuck them, I hope they lose today and I hope they eventually fuck off back down the leagues, and take their Southern nothing clubs in Brighton, Bournemouth, and Brentford with them.

That's my preference but then there is a part of me that wants Palace to win, think it's cos I think that HLTCO lad is canny

 

But having Europa League secured as a minimum would be ideal
