TheBrownBottle
Liverpool have looked a bit ‘off the boil’ last couple of games to me, plus the three key players now in Bosman territory. I’m probably completely wrong, but I can see a sticky patch coming for them.

We beat them twice this season already and so will be favourites. But they put us under significant pressure at times in both matches. Ending up losing to them somehow would be terrible. And we'd then have to hear about Ange's guarantee and all that nonsense. Would be so awful.

Mattoon
Advantage Spurs, fingers crossed they either shut Liverpool out or somehow grind a result against them at Anfield. Take Spurs over Liverpool in a final every time.

I've been thinking the same. Losing to them would be like getting beaten up by Fredo Corleone. I'd never ever get over it. Keep thinking about Ange's "I always win something in my second season" as well.

jack j
Spurs should have quite a few injuries back for the 2nd leg? Liverpool pretty much guaranteed top tier qualification in the champions league with 2 games left so they will be able to rest players then sadly
LFEE
Was impressed with Spurs. Played very well. The bad injury seemed to spur them on. The goal scorer looks a very good at such a young age. I’d heard good thinks about the new GK and he didn’t disappoint also though he’s smaller than I imagined. Similar to the Italian he’s been bought to fight it out with in build. Theregulars
I would absolutely and obviously much rather play Spurs were we to manage to get through. We are more likely to win a trophy in that eventuality. Thinking in advance about the less embarrassing outcome if we lose is proper muggle chat. andycap
Rather spurs than Liverpool. We can actually beat spurs. Liverpool are like man utd if they aren't playing well they'll get a jammy penalty or dodgy offside go there way.
Jonas
Spurs being due one over us would be the only thing. Liverpool trailing going into a home-leg is just up their street though, they've been through this plenty of times before. They'll be more up for it and it might even stir the inhabitants to make some noise.

Liverpool are blessed in finals I feel, probably the last team I'd expect to lose one other than Real Madrid. Whilst were cursed, approaching Benfica levels.
