This is about Wrexham, I created a thread but it vanished, can I ask why?  Have I broke a rule?

Is this as far as it goes? Championship mid table mediocrity or yoyoing between the Championship and league 1? Deadpool and IOSIP money can only get you so far. Maybe Ryan could convince Marvel to sponsor them because they need big money from somewhere.

Any thoughts or interest in the Wrexham story or should I let it go? Ryan and Rob have definitely taken it seriously and they genuinely seem to care about rejuvenating the city, not just the team.

They've definitely missed a trick by not having Charlie Day in his blue suit as their mascot.

It's been a fun ride so far and I don't want it to end. From hearing them not have a clue about promotion and relegation to hearing Rob scream 'that's never fucking offside ref' has been a joy to behold.

I get that other fans will whinge about Hollywood money but boo hoo, that's life. I've supported a wee team my whole life and I dont begrudge them their success. I'd be over the moon if Danny De Vito and Wolverine wanted to transfer 'the sleeping giant' that is Dunfermline. Saying that, I'm currently happy with our new ambitious owner.

Ps I've also loved Newcastle since I was a slip of a lad. (A wee bit of English blood in me allows me to have 2 teams). Both play in near identical strips too.

About 20 years ago I was with my dad whilst he worked, he drives a wagon. Anyway we went to Wrexham, and even then as a teenager I could see that the area had deprivation.

For the people of the town, and the supporters who were there during the hard times I’m pleased for them. It is about time they had something to cheer about, and hopefully their fame results in the town itself getting some investment outside of the football club.

I think everyone initially thought that the story would go wrong with a bunch of Hollywood guys buying a club, and thinking it was nothing more than a PR and/or vanity project. Their owners have actually been some of the best owners in football though, and you can tell that they have fully embraced it. Although they did know about promotion and relegation, the whole point of buying a club was to get them promoted through the leagues.

On the other hand though, so far everything has went right for them, I know they missed out on promotion in the first season, but since then it has been 3 promotions in a row. What happens when they hit that buffer, which will likely be this season? What happens if in a few years they are no closer to getting into the Premier League, or have been relegated back into League One and can’t seem to establish themselves any higher?

What happens if they do make it to the Premier League? The demands placed upon them to even have a chance will be much more than what they have put in so far.

Will they still enjoy it when they have hit the glass ceiling and they are no longer winning every week?

If they do make it to the Premier League will they cash in, presumably to a consortium who just want to run the club as merchandise venture and not focus on the team itself?

So far I think everyone is saying that it’s good as it stands, but have the knowledge to await their reaction when they do hit the buffers.

And, Bobb looks like he transforms them as well. Wonder what Phil Foden is making of all this. Bobb and Reijnders both have major playmaking qualities as well as quality finishing. I think they’re probably back even though they’re still a bit weak on the left wing

It's a long old season mate. We'll have plenty of games where Foden and Cherki will get the nod.

Bobb is just coming back from pretty much a full season out, so I wouldn't expect him to play every game yet. Although, I agree - he offers us something the others don't. His feet are quick and his football intelligence seems to be on par with Cherki, will be interesting to see how the two of them link up.

I think Savio is doing us a favour throwing his toys out the pram.

Just whacked SSN on and Sunday Supplement is on. Sheth, Miguel Delaney, someone I’ve never heard of and Jonathan Liew…….

Nah. You’re alright.

Only way that gets worse is if the Alice band nonce Oliver Holt is part of the panel.

I actually gave it chance. Liew was fine. The woman was saying we were offering more for Sesko and pretending to be shocked that he chose Man U over us……

Then Delaney just loosely referencing that we have been offering more wages in a lot of these deals. Before quickly moving on.

That’s enough of that

I've never seen it with Doku personally. Same trick every single time, his end product is pretty poor. Reijnders looked unreal yesterday though. Remember the AC Milan fan on here stating they'd got him for a bargain.

Is Robert Madley the worst professional ref? He was horrendous when we where in the Championship, and he's still horrendous now.

He's been terrible the entire match and has the nerve to look proud
