Brentford's winner today came from a shot that goes past a player standing offside right in the keeper's line of sight, not given through the usual arbitrary line drawing. Schar whistles in a clean goal about 7-8 seconds after Burn is very slightly offside from the preceding cross, a goal that had basically nothing to do with Burn, chalked off. Aye, Corberan went on a great run and they got themselves into a very good position, despite their awful start, but they've made a bit of a pigs ear of it this past week, first losing to Sunderland, and then again in midweek. A couple of extra points and it could have been in their hands, or going further back, just 2 wins and 9 points from their last 8 games - pretty much relegation form for a significant period of the season.
