I can't wait for next season, we've achieved all this with a dozen games of Carpethead in charge in which we averaged a point a game at absolute best.

That was a good result today, given the entire football establishment doing its absolute best to get Liverpool into the CL.

Thought Mings and McGinn were outstanding today. Just gutted that yous were a pen miss away from the 3 points.

Makes you think what kind of terrorism was Gerrard serving up to that team given where it was when he was sacked. Abysmal stuff.

Next season is actually going to be really really interesting and competitive.

Man City will still be churning it out as ever.

Will Arsenal be able to recover with a young squad?

Will Man United be able to build on a top four finish?

Villa are going to improve with Emery in Charge.

Will Brighton and Brentford be able to carry on from their impressive seasons?

Liverpool are going to invest and are going to be competing again you'd imagine.

Surely Chelsea and Spurs will get their act together and be competitive.

West Ham arnt going to be as bad as they have been this season, and could be fighting for Europe again.

And how will we do with extra game and extra pressure?

Going to be really intriguing.

Getting aside him being generally shit at managing, but if Gerrard was in charge today, he would certainly have sent his team out to lose today.

Liverpool came 1st for him, even to the point that he just strolled around in England games.

Mings has been colossal since the day Emery walked in. And as for McGinn, we all wanted shot of him, he was so embarrassingly poor under Gerrard.

popped into RAWK! They generally feel they are the victims of an officiating conspiracy!  :yao:

Aye, I was going to post a f*ckin' laughable comment by someone called Vote for Pedro who was spouting the same sort of b*llocks

McGinn looked great today mind. Showed really good feet to avoid the Liverpool press and release the counters.

The thing with Liverpool is the way the media are so desperate for them to succeed....rarely is the amount of injury time questioned or even remarked upon...the pundits and commentators drool over anything Liverpool do that's remotely decent.....its embarrassing.....

A family member has worked at BBC Sport for 35 years. The corridors of power there have always been packed with ManU, Arsenal and Liverpool fans - especially Liverpool.

Group text from me: “thanks Villa — one point away…”

Immediate response from a Liverpool fan: “you mean thanks VAR” followed by ranting and raving about Mings not getting sent off and van Dijk’s offside being “absurd.”
