With all due respect we should batter both of these teams.

Overall quality of the game is terrible, I’d say only Fernandez and Harvey Elliott come out with any credit.

Jackson too. And Silva.

Lukaku would eat in this Chelsea team.  Jackson behind him.  Would love it.

You’ve been knocking out some weird posts lately, have to say. Jackson has been OK and Chelsea have been poor, and Lukaku is proven not to be very good.

No one wants to have this conversation. They’ll resort to “Lakaka” memes and “did you see those misses in the world cup?“ and “he blocked the shot that could have won them the Champion’s League”.

Nice. Let them both start with a point.

Was not impressed by these two at this stage. Chelsea in particular have spent so much but still oddly seem quite short in key areas.

The idea that either of these two are suddenly going to become brilliant is silly.

Would be particularly concerned about Szoboszlai and Mac Allister, who were both very poor.

Nowt to be scared of there, like.

Think both teams will get better.

But there’s a lot for both managers and clubs to do. As you say, as they are - nothing to be scared of. But I think they get better.

Lukaku has almost 400 goals in his career. Scored 15+ in PL and Serie A goals in 7 seasons.  ‘Not very good’. In the right setup he’s a very good player.

Yeah, they've got a fair bit of work to do. They both looked dodgy at various points.

Liverpool looked quite frail at times during that, their attack could obviously win them any game, but defensively they are going to have issues this season, and Chelsea where the definition of all fart no shit, though they looked coherent, which is an upgrade for them I guess

Mac Allister and Szoboszlai didn't look overly special either tbh.
