Watch it all come out on this thread.

Yikes, they've over leveraged themselves into oblivion. It's worse than we ever were under Ashley. @1878 & @Neil, sorry you have to go through this, lads. It's fucking shameful and I hope you get your club back one day.

my everton mate was openly wishing for the club to fold at weekend just to have it over with. Doesn't help that Everton is actually his second team and his main one is Morecambe that lurch from one financial disaster to the next and are forever on verge of dropping out the football league

Does all sound horrifyingly shit for Everton. You always want big clubs to get cut down to size (relegated for a year or two etc) but it’s not ever nice to see parasites come in and utterly tear a club apart from the inside

I don't particularly have anything against Everton, but it is a reminder that we could have done a lot worse than our current abhorrent owners who some people are still miffed about. There but for the grace of God...

It’s fucking disgusting man.

What next, Wednesday at Midday?

Either scrap the 3pm blackout, or put every Premier League game on at 2pm on a Sunday so they can all be televised.

“This is the ghost of Martin Tyler welcoming you to midnight madness!! It’s Burnley Vs Sheffield United in Doha AND ITS LIVE!!

How is Sunday at 630 worse than 8pm on a weekday?

Weekday games are rare, usually reserved for cup games. When they do happen they are often rearranged games, or games that tend to be more local.

A 6:30 game on a Sunday would be a regular event, almost weekly. It kicks off when a lot of public transport outside the capital has stopped or got a reduced timetable, and most shops etc are shut. You will be hard pressed to find return public transport for away fans as well, meaning that most away fans would have to take the Monday off and possibly pay for accommodation.

There’s games on 8 on a Monday or Friday most weeks

theres games at 8 on a Saturday now sometimes

most weeks of the season there’s cup games or European games midweek and premier league games most nights

really don’t think 630 Sunday is a huge issue tbh

More of an issue is that the games could move from other days if they opened up the 3pm Saturday slot

any essential's can be bought still on a Sunday evening we’re not in 1971?

Transport runs fine on Sunday evenings

unless your after shopping in town after a game?

More on about vast swathes of fans trying to get into a corner shop.

No it doesn’t, Sunday’s are already generally a reduced service, it will be difficult for both home fans and away fans.

You might be able to get a train from London to Newcastle, but it will be a lot harder getting one from say Birmingham to Newcastle after a match.

Anyone else absolutely freaked out by seeing players you remember watching play, who were younger than you at the time, but are now managers and look really old?

Simone Inzaghi, just saw him now, sporting at least 3 chins and looking about 50.

It doesn't seem right.

I reckon there's more train coverage late night weekdays than there are Sunday evenings.

Not that anyone involved in running football ever gives a flying fuck about away fans.

Although you lot should be noisy about this, as you don't really get any 'local' aways.
