So back in a position where 3rd is in our hands again.

Yep. We are a long way from favourites because we don't have strength in depth like Chelsea or Liverpool, but we just need to start winning again and it's still there for us.

Games in hand, Spurs and Man Utd to come to SJP and Liverpool with City away, Chelsea away and Arsenal at home in the next 3 games. A massive chance to go for it now. I feel like we could be a lot more deadly with scoring though so hopefully we sort that out because if we start taking our chances we'll be right up there and could even push for 3rd.

The equation is now 21ish points from 13 games. W6 D3 L4 or even W5 D6 L2 if the wins come in the right games.

Lots of issues still visible today, but ferk it, we won and that'll do for now.

The result today but probably more so, the penalty incident, will be massive in helping us to finish top four or at least top six. You need either luck or poor officiating to go your way and it did today. I think the pen would have been soft but there’s no way you could argue with it at all. Pope did cut back across the player and didn’t play the ball

We play our game in hand over Liverpool and Man Utd next weekend btw. They aren't playing next weekend. We're playing Forest too so a huge opportunity with Man Utd coming to SJP after it. Win both and we're above Man Utd.

Feel strangely relaxed about the rest of the season. Don't expect us to finish top 4 so there's not that feeling of 'we have something to lose' but want us to give it our best shot. If we do manage it, it would be some achievement given the squad we have compared to some of the other teams.
