Newcastle United 1-0 Fulham (15/01/2023)

So frustrating. We never got out of first gear and yet should be 2-0 up. If Bruno is out for a while then we will need to sign a quality midfielder this window 100%.

We can still win this

We don't look quite ourselves like.

Wilson should maybe have scored but Hinchcliffe is full of shit saying it was telegraphed, if that's properly in the corner it's a goal. More worried about Bruno than the performance at this point

They should have dragged Bruno off almost straight away. I’m assuming Howe saw how badly he rolled his ankle on reply. Stupid to keep him on. If he’s lucky he’s just tweaked ligaments and will miss a couple of weeks.

Frustrating half. End product just not there again. If Bruno is injured that is a huge kick in the balls. We need two starters in this window.

Still can't get over watching us play actual football though, even if we aren't finishing at the moment.

Should we be concerned that we haven't scored now in over six halves in the PL.

No, IMO. Still creating. Most of thr players need more coaxing to shoot.

Feels like they are an Arsenal team of yesteryear at times trying to walk it in. Would like to see more first time finishes off balls coming in. More skied chances but more goals too maybe.

Wilson needs to step up. Everyone’s doing their job but him.

He’s got into some great positions, some lovely turns and close control. He just didn’t finish. That time.

Getting fed up of Longstaff in the side every week and ASM not included or on the bench. Joelinton back in the middle or Willock as they alternate or switch as soon as the game kicks off, were missing a real attacking threat on the left, Joelinton can do everything in the middle better than Longstaff, and ASM is a miles better attacking threat than Willock or Joe out wide.
