Of course theirs always the chance he doesn't play. But would that reduce his fee compared to currently not even playing for Newcastle? Not sure it's best to sell him before the tournament. But both of those huge clubs are very interested and my point was that a good showing in the world cup could increase interest further. While a no show would be no worse than his current status of benched Newcastle player. I'm not completely against this. But I do have reservations with the world cup coming up.
