We signed Anthony Gordon as someone with potential, hounded out of his old club (literally), and was allowed to showcase himself and as a result moves to Barcelona. These sorts of player progression stories are what will allow us to bring across other players in a similar mould. We will benefit from their drive and ambition, and then we can profit on any potential sale. You can argue he could’ve done more, and his general demeanour is downright bizarre sometimes. Both are valid.
