He probably covered about half as much ground as he would when on the wing, bit of a night off for him [emoji38]

Part of the reason he was started upfront I think.

Didn't need to do as much running and graft.

Was still such a good team performance from him.

Involved in lots of interchanges with Almiron, Willock and Joelinton, and constantly threatened in behind which opened up space for us.

Didn’t always come off. But his link up, little touches round the corner, pass and go and the runs he made off the ball were top quality.

Won’t get all the flowers that Tino, Willock, Hall and co are getting. But he just quietly went about his business and did really well.

It has already been mentioned but his off the ball running has been superb lately. He’s either been getting goal contributions or his running has directly resulted in creating space for our goals.

Always puts endless amounts of graft in and looks to be developing a really good intelligence of the game. His run to create space for Willicks goal was very smart. Brilliant, reliable player

I think people misunderstood him a bit before he came TBH. He was never all about pace, he was about technical ability and movement.

His role in making space for Willock’s goal has been mentioned, but his diagonal run drawing away the centre half for Almiron’s hasn’t.  (Well, it has now).  The lad has a football brain

Even for Hall's goal it was his backing into Maguire which caused the shite headed clearance.

Took Maguire (?) away to create the space for Tino to pass to Miggy. Hat-trick
