Lotus
Didn’t think it was his best game either. In some ways quite a few of the players seemed a little off last night. Probs a bit of fatigue and a tiny bit of complacency.

Gordon not using Hall on the overlap is the most obvious case, but Hall also at times passes to other players that doesn't seem to be in as good a position as Gordon, and they also seem to lash out a bit at each other when one of them takes an attempt at goal when the other believes he is a better position and wanted the pass (moreso than if it was other players doing it to them). I'd agree, but I've read they actually get on well, so maybe they're just a bit tempestuous on the pitch. Definitely seen a few fuck offs aimed at each other though
alexf
Feel that way about Isak and Gordon aswell normally, until Isak set him up wednesday. But generally feels like they throw their arms up at eachother off the ball etc when they don't get the pass they want. Compared to Murphy & Isak where Isak clearly loves the service he gets from him. But players are professional and very rarely does that sort of thing really have any major impact. Yorkie
Gordon rages at every fucker whenever he doesn't get the ball in an advanced position. Wouldn't read too much into his body language, he's a selfish player (no bad thing).
r0cafella
We can't afford for Gordon to put in those kind of performances, he has to be much better when he's afforded as much space as he was today.
Dan
He's got no competition for his position now Barnes is out.
KaKa
This guy today man. So clumsy and so many daft decisions. When he has a poor start, he has an annoying habit of starting to try too hard to make up for it. Just calm down and keep things simpler!
Lush Vlad
I thought he was bad overall on Wednesday, despite his goal and some lovely moments of skill. Similar today. I know teams give him more respect, sit off and double up on him. Plus it is the team’s fault for not making space for him and being a goal behind most the game. But he was at his best last season when he just made his mind up and committed. He always looks unsure of what he wants to do and I think he lacks technical quality (hell of a volley, mind) on the ball when the game is tight like that. He seems to slow the play down to survey the field. Then doesn’t really create the opening. Bruno gets stick for having too many touches. But Gordon is just as bad. Newcastle Fan
Good layoff to assist Tonali but feels like he's not as effective in the last two games, hopefully shows more in the game against Fulham.

Ronson333
I thought he played really well today, one of the few bright spots.
Aiston
Probably the only bright spot but he looks tired and he's not getting any rest at all.
Gallowgate Toon
He was far better on the ball than recent games but I'm finding his positioning choices when we're attacking a bit weird at the minute.

Lush Vlad
Brilliant first half. Outrageous from him for the first goal. Second was poor, I thought. But most the team dropped off second half. Felt he had the beating of Castagne every time down the outside. But gave him chances to get back to him with his touch or final decision. He also reverted back to cutting inside a lot. Which hasn’t had the same success this year and usually results in a blocked shot.

Do pro-athletes not get tired? Or more because people are just assuming they are?
