Hypothetically speaking: IF we are fortunate enough to actually win at Wembley, who would you like to see score the winning goal?

Bruno for the winner, he came here when there was no guarantee we were staying up. He must know he’s special, he didn’t need to take that risk, he could have had other options.

I think it would mean just as much to him winning this as it would to us.

tripps lifts the trophy anyway as captain, would be more than happy with him being part of folklore for same reasons.

Murphy, he'd swallow himself with that size of his smile, like when Pacman dies.

Its the sort of daft unexpected thing that can happen. Missalotivic slamming in that goal for Villa in 96. Steve (who) Morrow winning it for Arsenal before Adams broke his neck in the celebrations.

Either one of Schar, Almiron or Joelinton. Bruce will no doubt be there or following the game as a Manc so one of the players who've been fucking mint since he's left would be nice.

Correct answer.

You could make a case for anyone really.

Longstaff would be great because he’s a local lad who has came up through the system.

Burn because he had to go away for a chance in football and came back to play for us.

Almirón so he can shut up everyone and finish his redemption story after Bruce ruined him.

Isak so getting a trophy and scoring in a final off his back, and if he is to go on and be the success we think he is, he only has 200-ish goals ahead of him to put him above Shearer.

Lascelles for his final captains bow out.

Trippier because he is a symbol of what the club is now.

Botman because he has been solid whilst having us and this would give him some deserved appreciation.

Schar for the reasons above.

Bruno for similar to Trippier.

Joelinton for the same as Almirón.

Willock because he believed in the club after just seeing what it was like to play for us for only 6 months.

Wilson because the team has relied on him for past 2 years, and he’s helped carry us.

ASM for the same reasons as Wilson.

Pope because it would be funny as fuck if we beat Man Utd with our keeper scoring the winning goal.

Pope penalty save.

Would be God awful to watch but that moment would be immensely intense and he'd be deserving of being the man to have that moment as a testament to the clean sheets and defensive work we've applied throughout the season. Fortiter defendit triumphans.

A Man United vs Bayern Munich styled win. 2 late goals and Sean Longstaff peeling away before doing the daft Ronaldo celebration in front of the Red Cockneys.

Haven't really thought about it much.

A Joelinton howitzer would be unreal.

That would be the ultimate rise from the ashes so going to agree, but a Miggy winner would be pretty special as well. Another player who has largely been regarded as a flop but who's having a tremendous season, and gives 100% game in game out.

As long as it's 6 thunderbastards within the first 30 minutes to settle the nerves, I don't care.

 acting like we wouldn't be shitting ourselves 6-0 up with 88 minutes on the clock

Trippier or Bruno for me - actually, Trippier 100% - they tried to sign him in the summer before we did and baulked at the price - he’s from the North West as well!

He was the catalyst last January and I doubt others would have followed so him in the 94th minute with a free-kick to win it! Can I be greedy and say Bruno to equalise when we are 1-0 down going in extra-time as well?!
