Don’t think they will be able to strip titles etc from player and coach CVS unless they were individually culpable.

Aguero, Silva, Toure regardless of what Man City did still had to go out and win football matches

Capello got his Juve 2005 and 2006 titles revoked when they got stripped of them.

It's the sort of news that has you dreaming of the next sea change in football. The next "and then everything changed," a la three points instead of two; Hillsborough; BSkyB.

Believe it when I see it but, regardless,  it's truly laughable that they've breached a set of rules that are all but there to help them anyway.

Nothing will come of it. Well there maybe fines, but there won’t be points deductions, titles stripped, or thrown out of the league.

Can see a points deduction, same as Juve (15 points) had for their financial irregularities.

My initial thoughts are nothing will happen but a fine but if City are found guilty it’s a huge moment for the Premier League and FFP. If it’s just a fine then they may as well rip up FFP, even a points deduction for one season is nothing to Man City when they’ve won the title 3 times in those 9 seasons. What really is the incentive for other clubs to do things by the book of City get away with a fine or a token points deduction?

reading the charges this is more than just overspending it’s lying, it’s hiding documents, it’s back hand deals and it’s blatant cheating. A fine just won’t cut it, will it ?

“Manchester City FC is surprised by the issuing of these alleged breaches of the Premier League Rules, particularly given the extensive engagement and vast amount of detailed materials that the EPL has been provided with.

The Club welcomes the review of this matter by an independent Commission, to impartially consider the comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence that exists in support of its position.

As such we look forward to this matter being put to rest once and for all.“

I get the gut feeling that Staveley and Boehly knew this was coming but disagree on how it'll turn out.

AS was all cosied up with Masters a game or so ago. Best friends now she's through the door.
