Could be..............meaning he hasn't a clue in reality. Borne out by the fact we haven't sold Minteh, and have no idea what that sale value that could be. So we couldn't know how much we COULD be short. A tweet based on no facts at all.

It's still crazy to me that the notion is, just because it's not plastered all over the Chronicle, we mustn't be exploring sponsorship deals etc etc.

I have a full on inquest and interrogation over data breaching and sharing confidential information if I share it with the wrong person.

Yet apparently companies have to share these multi million pound deals with Barry down the pub for them to believe the club is trying

It's been repeatedly said that these deals are being done, maybe they gambled on getting a much bigger price with Europe next year which failed, maybe the pl are looking at the amounts but we know they are looking into them. Also the stadium and training ground stuff is a long procedure and can't be done with euro 28 in mind. Definitely turning into a jay slater Facebook group ha

Sorry if this has been asked or discussed, but is there a reason the PSR deadline is end of June? Why not align it with the transfer window?

Because pretty much all clubs have a June year end so it keeps it clean, and the PSR period is actually a season so the accounting date works as a good proxy for that.

its pretty fair to consider transfer activity to be for the coming season as

well

June is the arbitrary end of the season (when most player contracts expire)

Just hope we learn from this and don't push PSR limits (in its current form) again.

Spent all last season thinking we were lush lads in the league, keeping our spending within limits.

Hard to avoid the conclusion that somebody had a serious fuck-up with the calculations last season and deserves to be sacked. If this is how much this PSR thing is going to impact the club, then we really need an entire team of accountants running the numbers full time to ensure this doesn’t happen again.

And why we shouldn't have bought Barnes. But apparently that's can't be considered as that was last year though we're on a 3 year rolling span.

Monday I think

How much though. Fairly pointless if it’s about £40m. So much for the riches of the Premier League.
