Aston Villa 3-0 Newcastle United (15/04/2023)

Recommended Posts

Today's a write-off, just need to focus on Spurs as that was always the key game in the run-in. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say that the insipid display today may be related to the bigger game next week. One eye on Spurs etc.

Doesn't excuse this shite today mind, we've be collectively awful

Momentum - there is loosing and there is loosing.  This has been awful.

Momentum vs complacency - if we go about this defeat the right way and address the weak points like burn etc ready for the spurs game then some good could come out of it.

This is the same Villa that beat Chelsea 2 - 0, they’re every bit as good as us since emery came in and this was always gonna be the hardest out of the three away games. Six points is still a fantastic return.

All of a sudden Howe and his coaching team are shite... deary me. [emoji38]

Can’t see where anywhere said that, I think Howe had been tactically outthought today though.

Young has made two horrendously late challenges today, he should be off.

Very confused as how he has escaped a yellow on both occasions. Yet Schar got a yellow.0
