Leeds United 2-2 Newcastle United (13/05/2023)

You guys are fucking hilarious. Anyone with an ounce of common sense could see that that was always going to be a horribly difficult game. Apart from an awful opening 25 mins, we were dogged, had plenty of positive play, but just couldn’t get the winner. Very unlucky with their equaliser.

People seem to forget there are two teams playing… it’s not just about us… it’s also about a Leeds team absolutely fighting for their lives.

Disappointing but some of the posts in here have been fucking embarrassing man. Remember where we've come from lads, the fact we're in the race for THIRD in the league with three games to go is ridiculous.

If we don't get there we don't get there, it's not the end of the world, let's not start acting like entitled babies and turning on the players who've got us here, fucking hell.

You can criticise their performances without turning on them.

No one had a good game for us today, no one, and a few have been showing weaknesses for a little while.

We looked tired as fuck throughout the entire game. So much sloppy play. Not sure if it's due to nerves or simply expecting the game to be easier than it was. Lucky point in the end imo.

2 Home wins is enough now, it was always 7 points to secure it, without the other teams slipping up, we still have wiggle room to lose a game. You couldn't ask for more going into the last 3 games.

Man ... have to be happy with a point after that, because in all honesty, we did not deserve it.

We've let Allardyce show us up today. Got pushed around and bullied by Leeds, which is really embarrassing.

Trippier and Almiron on the right were terrible and couldn't deal with the physicality at all. Willock had some good moments but lacked physicality as well.

They were really up for it, and we wilted. Think Howe made an error in taking off Wilson, as his sly play would have won us free kicks and killed the game once we took the lead.

Ah well, on to the next one. Cannot afford to lose to Brighton now. Going to be an awfully tense finish to the season, which will be really rough.

Bang on there are few on here who need to find a different team to support!

A truly mediocre showing by the usual standard.

If we were too emotional last week this felt devoid of passion. Our defending has plummeted, and right now we’re needing two goals to win a game. Maybe they’re exhausted, I don’t know, but I didn’t see anything that felt like us at our best today.

Some people on here need to chill the fuck out. We are 4 points up on liverpool with 3 matches to play. United have a tough match today vs Wolves. Calm down

We didn’t create anything outside the 2 pens.

Didn't think it was shocking or dreadful, but it wasn't good and there were errors from basically everyone bar Pope.

Leeds made up for their lack of quality with a real battling mentality which kept the fans going and made it difficult for us. Fair play to them tbh.

Disappointing result, sketchy performance, but disaster averted and onto two winnable games at SJP to try and get this done.

I said on here the other day. A draws not the worst result. We beat Leicester and then a showdown at home against Brighton. I fancy us.

Brighton is first.
