Bit like the Brighton game first half, doing everything right but scoring. If anything more dominant and controlling. Wilson did very well with the shot on turn, but probably should have done better with that far post header.

 

Bruno played some nice ground passes in to box. Almiron gets on to so many. Isak could have done better in front of goal but has had some good runs and trickery down left.

 

We will score, trust one of our players to find a moment of magic since we keep creating moments.

Burn is obsolete in this type of game. They are so deep, he's not tucking into a back 3 he's actually pushing forward into midfield to let Bruno go forward. We need Targett on to get the overlap going and perhaps push Isak in behind Wilson to help get between their back 3.

It's a strange mix of satisfying watching us dominate because I'm still not totally used to it, but also annoying that we've not turned it in to a lead.

 

These are the games that will be unlocked with a bit more investment. This team wasn't made for teams parking the bus just yet.
