Still stinks a bit, would have been nice to see what Eddie could have done with him, especially since he plays exactly where we need a bit of a quality injection. Honestly, when the takeover was announced, my personal excitement for it centered, not around the superstars we'd sign, but the naive notion that we'd never again have to sell if we didn't want to. The big 6 cartel and PL put paid to that with their bullshit rules. Nevertheless, glad this appears to be done, the alternatives were not worth thinking about.
