I can’t believe we have these levels of skill in our team. This guy is a joy to watch. Effortlessly moves around the pitch, protecting, breaking up play, releasing, creating. We have the best midfield in the league!

He's one of the best midfielders I have seen in a black and white shirt.  I am 68 years old.

Absolute filth. There was one occasion in the first half Wolves played a pass and he just ran from behind the lad it was passed to and took the ball like he was playing against under 8s, I just laughed

Plays in slippers half the time but then turns on the thrusters effortlessly. It just looks so easy for him.

You have summed it up perfectly.  Great players make the game look easy.

Well worth the long wait man.

Still so giddy about how this whole thing has worked out.

Seriously of the belief that nothing can stop us now (PSR Aside). It just feels different with him on the pitch.

The best thing is, I really do think he’s got another gear going forwards with the ball. He doesn’t do it often, but when he moves forward with the ball he looks absolute class. He can side step a player, run with the ball with pace and has got a good long range shot.

It's extremely rare for a CM to have that level of technique, engine and pace like. He's really special.

He’s had a long enough run in the side now for us to fairly judge him.

As you said, all of the above. I havnt seen much mention of one his best attributes though - he is a very intelligent footballer. You can see that Howe has given him full trust of running that 6 position, he’s everywhere (take a look at his heatmaps if you havnt already). He reads the game so well, a step ahead of every Wolves player that attempted to press him tonight. I think he gives the back 4 a level of confidence that Bruno didn’t at 6 because he can be played off of better, in fact I feel he instills confidence in the whole side. Bruno was very press resistant but this guy is even better at it, in a more well rounded way. Just a super high footballing IQ.

Hes fucking good man [emoji38] Super impressed at his integration into the side, he’s been almost flawless and is getting even better. Will be our most important player besides Isak from here on, the 6 position is probably the most important position in elite sides and he could easily become one of the best at it. Where could we have been if he never got that ban?

You can say he arrived under a bit of a cloud and we'll probably never know who knew what and when with the whole gambling thing. That's the only reason I think he didn't cost at least 50% more than we paid for him. He might be about as good as it gets in world football playing that 6 role.

He's just so good at everything he does. I'll probably just be repeating what's already been said in this thread about him, so I'm just going to say I love him and leave the thread.

I’ll get me coat. :coat:

Take your coat off, relax with a fine cigar in a comfy chair. Love it.
