That shot aside, which would've been one of the best goals seen at SJP for years, he was as poor as he's been all season.

 

Nobody lost the ball more than he did, and it was his shite pass that set them away for the equaliser. Could've done better to stick with Jimenez in the box at the end of the counter, an' all, he just got shrugged off.

From the post-match it sounds like most players had a man they were told to press. Bruno mentioned being told to focus on Partey and Schar would go for Rice. So probably.

It looked like it. Odegaard looked thoroughly fed up with the rough house treatment he was receiving at the hands of our Italian enforcer.

Outside his post hit and about 5 minutes in first half where he came deep and found a bit of space away from Tonali and passed a few between the lines he was pretty anonymous, testament to Sandro and the rest of the team ghosting him.
