The defense was really amazing November through January and then started to give way toward the end. We need a frontline scorer and a defensive addition with our next two moves. Midfield after that. McCormick Posted July 1, 2023 Share Posted July 1, 2023 (edited) Nelson would be quite an astute signing imo; he’s the kind of player that needs a run of games and good coaching but once it “ clicks” he could genuinely be something special. He’s got so much going for him. I do think though that signing a Nelson doesn’t exactly send the message that we’re really going for it. Home grown Versatile Pace Gets stuck in Has potential to grow Fits budget Reminds me of a pacey Joelinton/Willock hybrid tbh.
