Absolutely smacks of let's put a list together of everyone linked in the press and act like it's not something I just made up on the spot.

 

It probably is likely the list they are working with but any fucker paying an ounce of attention could figure that out.

You see videos of a strikers 40 last shots etc and they usually look terrible, but the video of Strand Larsens all attempts last season is impressive, not just for his strength but his movement in the box.

 

Considering how little Wolves create you would think he could potentially get 20 goals for us with the chances we will create for him. He even does well when the box is packed.

Honestly think he’d outscore Šeško next season in our team. Just can’t see it happening due to just moving and the unrealistic valuation Wolves will want.

Don't think he offers anything that Barnes & Gordon don't.

Not sure it counts as a silver lining to this cloudy summer, but the way things are panning out at least the last day of the window (1st September) should be exciting this year.

I agree he offers something different to what we have. Always thought he could have been a viable alternative to Maddison when we were sniffing around him.

I’d be happy with Strand Larsen. Good goal return in a poor side, physically imposing and a good finisher. I think he’d score more under Howe too.

Given the shit show. If we can sign Watkins and then flog him to Saudi in 2 years for a small loss while we figure out our long term targets. It’s a palatable outcome. At least there are goals in the side, with him and Wissa to maintain our top 5 challenge for the next 2 seasons.
