Keep Gallagher after the game today imo.

would be unbelievable if a discussion about him does not take place as a matter of priority.

Agree the deal Saturday night

EH does the medical on Sunday (because he does everything)

Unveiling on Monday.

Will restore my faith in our transfer team immeasurably

Who you preferring for midfield and a forward (assuming one of them is Wissa)?

Is Pacqueta pie in the sky? We saw the pull Osula had for Elanga, so maybe that would help here.

Think Luiz could do a job too and Juve had made it clear he's available by trying to chuck him in that rumored Vlahovic <> Tonali shambles.

Wish we'd scout in the Championship more. Hayden Hackney, the "Smoggie Bruno" is just sitting there, not far from here, just ripe for the taking. A very good pickup for any club competing on four fronts.

Wish we were more aggressive in building our youth ranks generally as well. Adding a player here and there just doesn't cut it.

In: Elanga, Ramsdale, Wissa, Rudoni, Gallagher (loan with option to buy or similar) and Thiaw

Out: Longstaff, Dubravka, Generic Greek, Willock, Wilson

Definitely much better off. The real question mark is Isak and all the nonsense around him. Its dependent on him being able to be successfully reintegrated with the squad. Having to replace Isak at this stage makes us much weaker.

Wissa, Thiaw, Pacqueta, Elanga and Samu would make this a decent window I reckon.

Maybe another CM and CB who can be in and around the first team for emergency cover.  18-19 yrs old with potential added to that lot and we'd have something cooking.

My pick would have been Andrey Santos but apparently played for Chelsea the other day and was brilliant. Such a shame he’d have been perfect with our other Brazilian’s.

Assuming Thiaw and Wissa get done (knocks furiously on wood), we just need to sort out the Isak situation and grab a backup CM and that’s pretty much us set for the window. Not the huge step forward we all wanted but good enough for us to compete for a CL place again and leaving us with money to spend next year in what is hopefully a less saturated market.

If we do sell Isak that possibly gives us the funds to get a striker replacement AND splurge on one more player who improves the first choice XI.

Either way, the process will have been incredibly messy but it ends up being a solid B+ summer.

I think he is saying if we sell Isak and replace him, get Wissa, Thiaw and a cm. We should be in a good spot which is fair? I’d give it a B- personally

No, I got what he meant. Sorry like, Ramsdale, Thaiw, elanga and Wissa with a back up midfield does not represent a just below a perfect window for me. Yea bodies are filled but the quality is not quite there.

the top 4 have made massive strides on us and Man Utd are closing the gap rapidly.
