Hasn't it been reported a fair but that if we'd have signed Guehi we'd have needed more sales?

No idea if Miggy and Kelly would have covered the difference though.

It has which I find pretty annoying if that's the case after the fuck on last June.

Seems a worse decision but a better outcome by the day that we went for him and it fell through.

I think Eddie really wanted him otherwise it would never have dragged on that long.

It genuinely doesn’t make sense. Where’s the Guehi budget gone? We even can’t sign Khusaniv? Not that I rate him that high but no way

Probably went into Gordon's contract extension

What’s really annoying is that Man C and Chelsea operating in the same market as us, highly rated young gems that could develop into elite talents. So you can’t compete on that level given their huge revenue advantages not even mentioning their academies.

At least Man U, Liverpool and the others tend to have a different strategy for more established players.

The reduction in his annual amortisation costs with the extension would easily cover his salary increase, if there was any truth in original contract being only 3.5 years

Am I right in thinking he hasn't lived up to anywhere near the hype? Haven't seen barely anything in fairness and obviously still very young.

Endrick and Guler both went to Madrid a couple of years too soon IMO.

They're both immense talents but it's so hard to break into that Madrid team regularly and at that age playing every week is so beneficial.

Didn’t realise his Dad, Jeff, never got another club.

Scored two in his first few games for us, suggesting there was some under-the-radar goal machine in there like Kevin Nolan. Alas not to be.

Still only 32.

Endrick looks like he doesn’t know the basics which is alarming for me. Can see him being a total dud, because he’s so small as well he’s never going to be a striker for any good European side, especially being so bad at the basics.

To be fair Vini Jr wasn't that good when he first started, they seem to buy these players with a long term strategy and persist with them until they make it.

Vini Jr didn’t excel in those basics but he is an extremely determined type of learner. He finally made it after 2 seasons.

Endrick doesn’t seems to be that determined. I doubt Real Madrid would let him go for cheap anyway
