Surely there must be more going on in the background than it seems... We are a premier league club in the champions league we must have the people in place to identify and scout more players than the very few we are being linked with.

Our main targets are still the ones compiled by DA and the same word Ive heard from the 4 agents i still know / am linked to is "embarrassing"

Vardy would be Wilson’s replacement and from what I saw of him in the couple of games I saw him play he was a handful for Crystal Palace and made a mug of Guehi at times and beat him for pace to score and when I went down to Leicester he caused us problems and could’ve pinched two goals and give even Burn trouble in the air.

 

Give him a one year deal and I’m sure he’d do well for us coming on for Isak even if it got us to January and revisit the market. 
 

We ain’t going to overpay wildly in a panic. Marginally maybe but not wildly so I think our options will be limited now the season is underway way.

 

 

 

I am not trusting Isak. In our minds he should be taking the Wilson role for the forseeable and ‘Wilson’s replacement’ should be able to play week in week out 3 times a week until Isak is reintegrated (if he stays) and showing he’s willing to put in the hard work and performances and for me that’s not Jamie Vardy. 
 

for all we know could be October/November before Isak is reintegrated and match fit. If we are absolutely intent on keeping him we need to prepare for that

Don't think we overestimated how attractive we are. Bruno, Tonali and Isak signings tell you that. We just underestimated how many forwards the likes of Chelsea and Liverpool wanted.

Like someone pointed out before though, we're attractive if there's not loads of competition for players, and when there's someone of exceptional calibre selling the opportunity/project, which we clearly don't have now. I don't know how active Staveley/ Merhdad were in player negotiations but whoever was doing it then doesn't seem to be doing it now
