There had  to be some succession planning beyond Pedro, Ekitike and Sesko?? Surely?!

We scouted those players 2 years before they becaome household names. Who are the next strikers who are set to be household in 2 years? Surely we have that list?

We’ve either done absolutely no scouting at all regarding first team squad players in the last year or Howe has ripped up the list and is chasing his own players. Mitchell leaving implies the second imo. Either way, for the next year we’ll be hearing about how our PSR issues have hampered us this summer despite us making no effort to look for credible bargains and only wanting to pay shit loads/over the odds for proven Premier League players.

For what it’s worth, I don’t any club no matter how good can prepare adequately for being rejected by their first five striker targets, effectively within a single month.

By not fucking about with fees, afraid of perceived Saudi tax.

We are at a champions league level, we can’t afford to gamble with unproven “gem” strikers. We need strikers that are already at the top level, we can’t take the risk. Unfortunately the cartel clubs are still a more glamorous prospect financially and reputationally.

I think we will sign Wissa we will over pay because needs must

Id over pay. Id give them quite a few potential performance related add-ons to get it done.

I'm leaning more to Jackson than Wissa now.

Preferably with a wildcard from overseas to be the second option, France or Italy seem safer bets for transitioning to the Premier League.

And yes I'd look at Mitro for a bench option or as I've said before Vipotnik from Swansea as a younger version who I'd back to be more than a solid premier league striker on the right environment.

Edit and Isak goes to Turkey or the Middle East on loan

Yes the following sounds good for a CL season. Jackson for the high pressing. Wissa for the poaching. a free transfer Mitrovic for the target man. Osula out on loan.

Get rid of Isak on loan this season if need be. He's done here.

Howe is extremely picky when it comes to signing players, which he said himself a year ago and also recently as a reason why we weren’t signing anyone. That isn’t conducive to our current situation. We’re pleading poverty while fishing in the most expensive stream.

Kinda glad he’s picky. Means we get good players.

We're trying to buy an Isak replacement.
