Of course it's less than ideal, but they seem like they're trying like, they have been all summer.

Aye, we've had offers accepted for Delap, Pedro, Ekitike and Sesko tbf [emoji38]

I know they have tried, but we are into the second round of the season without a striker. Im not impressed got to say that.

It’s a disaster. We have no injuries in the striker department and yet we don’t have a striker we can field for more than five mins per game / that Howe is willing to trust for more than five mins. Fairly certain we won’t have one in until after Leeds then it’ll take some bedding in time so we probably won’t see the best of them until late October

Surely in the next week or so we sign a striker? Right??

Quite simply have to get a body in, it would be stupid to go into a season of 4 comps with just a half arsed Isak, Osula/Gordon as our only options up top.

We are desperate, whoever comes in we will be paying over the odds for.

Honestly, I am ready for Jackson now. He is for sale, has PL experience, good age and should not have the mental scarring of a Hojlund playing for Manure.

And this should not be contingent on what happens to the rat. We needed a striker anyway.

I suspect an issue could be that any striker we bring in now would want to know if they number 1 or backup to the rat, should he reintegrate. And that questions remains unanswered.

No guarantees. Going to be a crazy last week or rather condensed into last few days.

We will not overpay for anyone short term IMO.

They’ll be number 1, Isak will have to earn his place and he may be limited to “super sub” for some time. Isak No1 for ACON.

I genuinely cannot see Isak playing for us again and if he does, I have real doubts over his commitment given the conversations he had with Howe towards the end of last season and his respective displays in those end of season games.

We really need 2 in my opinion.
