I remember when I followed football intensively ( So like 8 years ago at this point) Di Marzio was considered very reliable for almost anything. I don't know what his reputation is like now, but good to know he's still reliable for Inter at least.

I said this when Thiaw signing was happening, I feel like it makes sense to go for players like this if they address a skillset hole in the team which their weaknesses can be covered up by his team mates strengths.

 

For Thiaw it was adding pace to a team that seemingly doesn't have much, if you don't have a lot of goals in midfield but have players who do the stuff he doesn't do I can see why it would work.

Very odd profile for a midfielder haha.

 

It's possible they're looking at him to play off of Woltemade in a 10.

Yeah I mean Lampard basically made a career out of being this kind of midfielder, not suggesting there's anything inherently wrong with it.

 

That said I think our system just stops our midfielders scoring that many. If you get Tonali and Bruno around or in the box, they're both more than capable of scoring. Normally though our system sits them deeper and lets the front 3 let rip with sheer pace.

That's essentially what Romano and Moretto said after we brought Ramsey in. Will be interesting to see if they have any info on it this time around, nothing from them yet

We are probably starting negotiations with the loan offer, which could convert to immediate buy offer once we sell isak, but are first testing waters with both Inter and Frattesi.

I think we're pretty watertight, but there's very often leaks from the other sides.

 

Plus a lot of people on here seem to think that rumours that don't come true mean the rumours were lies. I suspect a lot of what we hear is true, but just clearly not every transfer comes off.

Got to disagree bud. Penis sleeves are a wonderful thing. It never wants to cuddle and doesn't nag when you watch to much television. If you'd compared him to a penis sleeve with barbed wire inside, I would have fully endorsed you.
