Sounds exactly what I’ve been saying. Don’t focus on a striker but a midfielder that will get you goals. Extra man in midfield also for some games.

Interesting what happens here - for all Frattesi's miniscule passing numbers, that's a volume stat - his actual passes received numbers are also tiny, so he just doesn't get on the ball often, at least compared to other CMs, I'm guessing because he usually plays in a more advanced position so doesn't rack up the same posession stats as a typical deeper CM.

 

That said, still strange a midfielder in a team like Inter gets on the ball so little.

 

EDIT: progrssive passes received numbers is very high, so he presumably plays quite advanced. Yeah, he's kevin Nolan

Not really. The potential injuries just shone a light on the fact we are still abit light in midfield options. Id say if we can afford it we still could do with a other option. Obviously a 2nd striker is still priority though.

Priority will be on the second striker then see where things stand with outgoings. Do still think we need a better goal scoring and creative threat from the central midfield.

 

Woltemade scores predominantly in the box compared to Isak who might ping one in from distance. Would be nice to have someone central that could do that. Barnes, Schar and Smurphy like a Crack but we need more imo.

If we wanted to sign a CM after two injuries, but then say nope as it's not worse feared, what happens when we get two injuries in October?  

 

Either club thinks we're short and need to make a buy, or we're not and can cover injuries.
