NUFC Transfer Rumours

Who are people willing to sell in the summer?

Most people but only one or two of our best players at most.  Probably one if I'm being honest, and not Tonali.

Ideally no good players should be allowed out because we need to add so much quality already.

Wissa and Pope are the only ones I actively want to leave because we have to resolve the GK and CF situations if we're going to progress and they will therefore have to make way.

I love most of the squad, for my sins. The majority of them have contributed to arguably the greatest years of supporting this team I've ever had. Nothing lasts forever of course but you'd hope anyone who does leave will do so with their reputations intact.

Presumably the people that want to sign Delap don’t watch him play? If you want aggressive/positive player, there’s plenty in the EFL, they might contribute more than 1 goal in the PL

Seems like a typical Eddie Howe player. All aggression and running, and little else.

Did people not even watch him against us? His finishing is atrocious. Less goals this season than everyone’s favorite whipping boy woltemade

Agree.

If we wanted that sort of player, we'd have been better off going for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

I'm not saying our next striker has to be a world beater, but surely we can do better than Delap? Especially at the prices we will be quoted.

I struggle to believe there isn't a Demba Ba type striker out there that we can't get for a reasonable fee.

Chelsea would be absolutely delighted to offload him on us lol.  Calvert Lewin who most fans hates has had a much better season. Agree, Delap has red flags all over him

Anyone who decides or has already decided they might not fancy it if we're not in Europe for starters, but tell anyone with that attitude we're not selling them on the cheap.

We need to go back to the Hall, Tino signings…Massively talented but not finished articles. Even when we went for Etikite first time at Reims, that’s the time to get them. no more elenga types, trust the scouts to do their job.

Pope

Ramsdale

Ruddy

Vlachodimos

Trippier

Schar

Burn

Livramento

Krafth

Ashby

Targett

Willock

Elanga

Murphy

Joelinton

Barnes

Wissa

Osula

And without this lot leaving, we're still short of:

CM

RW

AM

ST

ST

Genuinely happy to rip it all up and start again. Mackems seemed to be able to do it.

Remember the halcyon days on here when this was the preferred argument about getting relegated?

If the likes of Spurs and Manure can bring in top players without CL football, I'm absolutely certain we can

Man Utd beat us to 2 or 3 signings without CL football. Obviously they can't sign everyone like, they're not Chelsea.

Those two clubs aren't affected by PSR...

We need a backup RB & LB. I keep mentioning Hickey at Brentford because he can play both and is a good age at 23 to try and push Livramento and Hall. Someone of that profile anyway.

Hickey's so injury-prone but I agree with the need for versatility. Would like to see us go for Rico Lewis or Lewis-Skelly as rotation options personally.

We need to find these players before they arrive in the EPL. Kayode would cost silly money considering they basically pulled our pants down for Wissa.

That’s fair. Quality player though and will increase in value
