Andy
Great result, but there are issues that need addressing with the huge gaps in our midfield and the lack of any fluidity in our attacking play, which aren't problems isolated to this performance. Doops
Lucky we didn't pay for leaving Isak on the pitch. He should have been taken off long before he was.

SUPERTOON
Not sure if it’s tactical or for fitness reasons, but would love to know where our intensity has gone.
Geogaddi
Shite performance and second best throughout but an excellent point, we will beat them at home .
Memphis
Let's just go ahead and say, brilliant to get a point at Milan. Excellent result. Better second half but obviously that's a low bar to clear. Improvements are needed in quality but certainly we showed great resilience.

Had our whole attack in his pocket, but Isak was terrible when he moved to the left also so not only Tomori.

Smal
I thought Longstaff was absolutely tremendous in that second half. Trippier is our only world class player though. It properly shows in games like that.
Tsunami
Would have taken a point beforehand. Game was definitely there to be won. We played it far too safe imo. No idea how we’ll approach the PSG game. You have to win your home games.

Beren
Much better second half, hard fought point. Lots of great effort on show. When I was excited about Newcastle United playing in the Champions League, I have to admit I was hoping to see Newcastle show our quality on the ball - but this is a learning experience for a lot of those players in Italy against the CL finalists. Having said all that... ...I think it's fair to say that this team looks a shadow of itself from last year, so far. You can see moments of frustration amongst the players reaching the surface, often with each other. Isak giving Gordon pelters for sending him down blind alleys. Longstaff and Burn getting into it. The confidence on the ball, moving the ball at speed when in possession, it all feels very lacklustre. Isak is being used as an Almiron-esque workhorse. We didn't buy him for his stamina, it's a bit sad to see him so gassed whenever he gets the ball. Trippier and Bruno were the best players I thought. doublecrown
Other than it being a Champion's League game and the atmosphere at the stadium, it wasn't a great game to watch and we lacked any real chances other than Longstaff's shot at the end, but totally happy with the result. samptime29
Commitment and effort levels were great. We didn't play well (chances created tame) but we never stopped trying. Hard game. AC Milan deserved to win but it's a clean sheet and a point away. Satisfying result. We will be better at home.

KaKa
Such an interesting matchup. We had the ideal type of centre backs for matching up with Giroud, and they had ideal centre backs for matching up with Isak. Both teams back fours were really good defensively I thought, and that was ultimately the story of the game.
Yorkie
For a competition winning local lad in the side just for the sake of it, BDB put in a magnificent shift in that second half. Won basically everything that came at him.
