Fulham have a LC semi 3 days before too, this should be very winnable. They play 3 times before we play and we have one game.

Like the sound of that.

Fulham have got the second leg of their League Cup semi 4 days after this game. If they can avoid getting tonked at Anfield in the first leg, every chance they'll put a second string out.

The second leg is on the Wednesday prior.

Why? They have literally fk all else to play for, not getting into europe or relegated[emoji38]

Because that's what they did last season until the fifth round and have done this season.

Would guess it almost certainly on the Saturday with them having the semi final the midweek before and us playing Villa the Tuesday after.

I love how we have a winter break for a weekend but then the week after we've 3 games in about a week. Pointless man, it'd benefit us more to just play that Villa game on the break weekend at this rate.

Liverpool will win the first leg comfortably like 3-0, so Fulham won't be bothered in the second leg and will save themselves for this.

could have been a lot worse obviously, but still another shit away draw against a solid midtable PL side that's going to be v difficult

Potentially West Brom v Wolves. Canny derby

Wonder whether WBA want wolves to win their replay or not though..? Also wonder whether WBA will spend 2 weeks crying if Wolves ask for 15% of the tickets

Nah, they’ll try and shut up shop away and limit it to a max two goal deficit

We can talk about the run up to the game all we want but at the end of the day if we show up we'll win. We've two weeks off to prepare for it, we're a better team than them, the only thing that will stop us progressing is a bad performance from us and if that's the case there's fuck all we can do about it. The draw could have been way worse, I'm happy enough with it.

Unless they’re about 6-0 down they won’t be sacking off a semi final in favour of a 4th round match.

Are we due any players back from injury prior to this?

Wilson, plus might be a chance of Willock and Barnes for the bench possibly.
