Wilson
2 away wins off the back of a good rest for the stretched squad. Fuckin brilliant. Edited January 30 by Wilson
STM
Last 20 minutes was a crucial learning point. We've learned to grind again. Great decision by Howe to put Livramento in there.

54
Undefeated at home was it? Shame. Cracking, and much needed result that, and more then deserved, we where better in most phases of the game, and it felt like we set up similar to how we did in Howe's survival season, and Howe got it tactically spot on, limiting the space they had to operate in by going man for man in midfield, and countering with really good effect. Then when Bailey came on and they started to turn the screw, by adapting our shape going 3-5-1, and they didn't have a sniff after that. This was no easy feat, Man City and Arsenal went to Villa park and got played off the pitch, so to go there and be so controlled in our performance is really impressive. Hopefully this lightens the mood a bit, and people can stop being so over the top
Mazzy
These next 3 games are pivotal now. All winnable but all against teams who have humbled us recently. But if can beat this Villa team, once we get some players back in the next 2 weeks I believe we've got the ability to get 6 points minimum from the next 3. MrRaspberryJam
I’ll be honest. Before we went out there I wasn’t sure if we still had it. that was us on a 7.

Massive 20 minutes, we've crumbled from a winning position so many times this season but in the last 15-20 minutes we started to limit them much better and adapt to Bailey's impact. Much more like it.
black_n_white
Brilliant away performance. Little confused as to why Bailey didn’t start for Villa?

Big Geordie
Shutting Bailey down, by fetching on Tino was the move that sealed the win, IMO.
nemtizz
Thought the 2012 game was the last time we won there so this flex isn’t as good as I wanted it to be, but good times. ?
STM
That substitute should be the one going forward. Livramento to protect Burn when we are winning. Best of both worlds.

Howe is smashing it considering everything that's happened up to this point.

Memphis
We didn't crumble in the last 20 minutes because we weren't dog tired from having played 4 matches in 10 days or something crazy. There's not much more to it than that. If we had a deeper, healthier squad, we would have been seeing this all season. As it stands, once we've been given some time to breathe, we can play this way again.
