This is such a winnable game if we get it right, they over commit, if the breaks/counters are on point, we could, and should blow these away.

Really hating how often we lose out on loose balls or 50-50 challenges.

Got to change something up. If we keep playing that open, we’ll lose. As they have players that can actually sprint and carry the ball up the pitch. 
 

Started quite well I thought. But forced the issue when trying to attack and wasted chances. Then we’ve been lazy and disjointed defending. 
 

Considering the opposition. That’s a worryingly shit half from us.

There was so much positve energy, but we had some amateurish moments in that first half. Quite baffled how this turned out.

The score could literally be anything at the end of this. We could win 5-3 or they could win 4-2.

 

We should have scored a 3rd when it was 2-1, but we kept getting into great positions and fucking up the final pass. They look like scoring too often as well, our defence is struggling to cope with their pace.

In the PL, if you can't keep the ball at a basic level, you will get killed.

 

Stop playing long balls and little chips. Knock the ball side to side.

Lively game this. 2 great finishes from Longstaff, but he was also at fault for their two goals. Not picking his man up for the first and just dangling a toe in on a challenge leading to the second.
