Can we stop with tne better than Wilson stuff. We've seen why Wilson comes on as a 9 before him, and that's because he's seen as a RW but the coaching staff. Maybe, when he's more polished they'll use him through the middle again, but right now they don't see him as that.

We really haven’t seen why. There’s no excuse for Wilson to be brought on as a central striker again.

I'd say it's pretty obvious, we've only seen him given real minutes there in experiment type games, Bromley FA cup and Liverpool in the weird league set up. other then that it's all RW, even when we've needed someone to come on and play CF

I dont think its very obvious. They dont trust him, we know that, but we dont have much evidence to say for certain they regard him as a RW.

Bit of Lua Lua about him.

I thought that as well.

Remember one of Sir Bobby's famous quotes.

We don't know what he's going to do.

The crowd don't know what he's going to do.

He doesn't know what he's going to do.

Game of opinions and all that, but this as the takeaway from that cameo baffles me tbh.

Delighted for him today, there’s enough about his game to like. Even if it’s not very well rounded he’s got pace, trickery and huge energy. He seems to work quite well from the right, especially late in games. I imagine he’d be poor there for a lot of the game as I don’t think he’s the most disciplined or the best at crossing but he looks really dangerous against stretched teams

Always felt old Lomana never quite got a fair shake here.

Was his shot going in? Difficult to tell from where I was sitting and haven’t been able to see it again.

It was certainly on target and looked to be going in unless the keeper would have saved it.

We were having the same discussions about lack of game time for Hall last year. Next year will, I would imagine be the one where he will push on and utilised more. If not then he will probably be off loaded next year at no significant loss and maybe even a profit. His decision making was actually very good today.

fwiw, I don't think either player can do that role justice in the PL at the moment.

Agreed, but one of them can run.

Aye, this. Much rather have some energy. Wilson comes on and just contributes nothing. It’s such a shame, but other than a goodbye cameo I wouldn’t bring him on again.
