Holloway
My belief that he can cut it at this level is diminishing the more I see of him, but he got very little support today

buzza
The silly fouls he makes relieves any pressure or good pressing we have done tonthe opposition. Needs to calm down, seems like he is trying to play at 1000mph.

One time the ref completely fucked it by blowing up against him. Physically he was fine with ball to feet physicality. What he was shit at was physicality when duelling with a defender when running onto a ball clipped over the top. Think that was more stupidity than poor physicality

It's incredibly frustrating. Cutting that out alone will improve his showings and how he comes across.
Sandrotastico
Looks lost and erratic in everything he does. Number 3 Striker or backup on the wing, for me.
The Prophet
He was very "meh". Linked up alright at times, but his movement and awareness looked well off it. It was a rarity, but when the ball was playing into the box, he was caught on his toes.

He was never in a million years going to reach it and he just clattered into their defender giving them a cheap free-kick instead of us having them still in their final third defending. Not sure if you can teach that.
duo
The lad needs games - he needs to go on loan to somewhere he'll play regularly.
Nattfare
The only role he seems to be able to fill is as an impact sub as a wide forward. He doesn't have to win many physical battles when he plays against tired legs and heads where it can leave him a step or two ahead. It also gives him more space to do (for good and bad) more unpredictable things on the pitch.
mouldy_uk
Genuinely interested in examples of players that have gone out on loan and have come back better players and then played for us?

Optimistic Nut
Longstaff. Might have been completely different if he'd not got the injury under Rafa then had Bruce walk through the door.
Beren
He finally got minutes and I think (hope?) he'll rewatch the match tape and reflect on how he's let himself down a bit, and learn from it.
1964
Sorry but against the worst team we'll play this year, he's out of his depth. Great personality, shite footballer
Kid Icarus
Felt for him tbh. Worked his arse off and on the odd occasion the physical contact he had with their defenders was fine, the ref still gave a free kick. Can see why we took a chance on him and if he can round off his edges on loan, he could be a player, it's all about how he applies himself imo. Lush Vlad
He works hard, makes some smart runs, has something. But he is miles away from this level. Weak as a kitten for his size most the time, unbalanced or just daft in giving away cheap fouls. Even if it is the other team being clever to win them. Needs to be a bit more subtle or not get involved. On his heels almost every time a dangerous ball came in the box or was played in behind. Could have had 2-3 shots on target if he had that striker’s instinct. One would have been a tap in into an open goal. Also kept sort of jogging almost parallel with the ball when we were pushing forward. Almost as if he got in the way. Not sure he will ever have that side to his game and it is really frustrating. As he has some great attributes. But just plays with no control whatsoever.
Wolfcastle
Cant see a player in there at this level at all. Not so much promising youngster that cant get a game because of internationals ahead of him as a backup to those internationals.

SiLvOR
This is gonna sound spectacularly Brexit of me, but he needs to bulk up. Or use his body better. Bit of comedown for him today I expect, after the thrill of scoring on Monday. Think there's a useful player here, but for now, an impact/chaos causing sub
Smal
didn’t learn anything new today, like. Miles off this standard, even considering his age. Very frustrating when we had the ball in crossing positions and he just wasn’t ready to get on the end of them.
