He's best as a "chaos option" when we're taking the initiative and chasing the game. He was probably brought on to give us an outlet and some pace on the counter because we were basically getting pinned back by Arsenal at that stage with nothing to hit back with. JigsawGoesToPieces
Waste of £10m tbh, looks like a mid table championship player, he just runs round, doesn't really press, cant hit a barn door and just gives away freekicks for silly fouls
huss9
still our top scorer this season.
Jordan
He’s like a dog chasing after the ball you’ve pretended to throw.
Heron
I don't like being this way, certainly to lads like Osula who are real good kids and give it their all, but he isn't of the level we require, I feel. Perhaps, in time he becomes our "early stages" player as proven versus Bradford. If he's happy to just be that. I doubt it though. If so at least that lightens the fixture load. Elanga can be that. Rather have the striker be Willock in this situation, at least he can drop and get ball into feet. Osula just comes on and makes loads of fouls, as he plays like a fan. Offers no control to our game at all, and can only make it here as a winger, and even that’s a long shot.
Newcastle Fan
Great work with the assist. Felt there was more in it for him today but time ran out before he could do more.
Geordie_once_removed
Is it time to put some respect on his name as they say. His assist was excellent. Great strength and a lovely weighted ball.
54
So thats 3 goals and an assist so far for him this season. Not too bad. He is starting to look pretty decent too, I no longer flinch when he comes on.
Miercoles
Great assist.
Menace
He did really well for the assist and wanted a goal, he's getting better.
Casey
Good showing off the bench. Assisted the Barnes goal on the break. Took up some good positions a couple times where he'd likely been through on goal but Tonali/Gordon played the pass behind him. Keep it up lad. AJ9
I’m starting to see it, like. He’s good.
Ed Vinegar
Did some good work today. Held off his man really well and played a nice pass for the assist. Imagine if it all clicks for him, he'll be a handful.
Holloway
Wouldn't look out of place with a big tongue hanging out the side of his mouth. Hope he continues his progress
gbandit
Physically, that’s the best bit of football we’ve ever seen from him holding off the defender while running with it and clipping in a perfectly weighted ball. Fantastic
ElDiablo
Classic Willy outing to be fair. A few nice bits of play combined with inexplicably falling over for no reason.

Lucky
He’s still quite raw but as Hilly Crystal would say, “there’s something there”
Yorkie
Brilliant strength and composure with the assist, with parity restored when he ended up on his arse off the ball on the next counter. That's wor Willie. In all seriousness, it's looking like a very good decision to keep him here, because he's going to get minutes all the time and relieve pressure on our most important strikers. Not only that but he's contributing something all the time too; there's only Leeds where he had a bit of a stinker.
Guillaume
Looks a different player so far this season, fair play to him.
TRon
Had to hold off commenting after the roasting he got when he came on against Arsenal, but I thought it was unfair. The goal he set up today showed the same qualities for his goal against Bradford, sheer strength and pace to hold off the defender, then that was a pearler of a pass slid through for Barnes goal. Elliottman
He was great for the goal to be fair, done everything perfectly. Hopefully… hopefully…. He’s being Howe’d!
Optimistic Nut
He's turning into a genuine outlet from the bench.
