I just think he was showing signs of causing problems for defences just before he got injured. Agreed that's like a goal in 2.5 games, decent stat. The Prophet
Absolutely loving the creativity in using a worthless comparison as an opportunity to get stuck into one of our own. It's why we're the best fans in the league.
PauloGeordio
Aerodynamic! Gordon to follow suit.
kenlau88210
Good to have him back. At least he can press hard, got some physicality, and eager to take on a defender
alexf
But that trx guy said he wasn't really injured and Eddie purposely wasn't playing him because he doesn't like him? Edited January 20 by alexf
Pilko
His chaotic, unpredictable nature might be what's required off the bench at the moment. The attacking play against Wolves was far too safe and sterile.

There's a lot of bullshit on Twitter, but honestly some of the NUFC stuff is among the worst.

Continue to not contribute in open play. Along with the lack of goals from the front men. Then maybe he will get a look in. I do think it is a typical case of someone getting better for every game they’ve been out injured, mind. He isn’t particularly good and still so raw and brain dead at times. Still a great option to have on the bench if we just want someone to shake the opposition up a bit. And who knows, maybe even score a goal.

Dr.Spaceman
Knew he wouldn't get on the pitch. Wonder what it would have taken for him to see minutes today. Thought he could have been a good option to come on and try speed things up a bit.
Turnbull2000
I'd like to see him get some starts in the league. Wissa and Wolte are shite, Osula surely can't be any worse?
Newcastle Fan
I would've had zero problems if he had started today instead of Gordon, honestly at this point he should be looking to leave for his own good.

TRon
He might not be top quality but he would have run at them full pelt and shook them up a bit. Our forwards were timid in comparison to Ektike.

Minhosa
If he’s anywhere near fit, he’s got to be starting this lad. - Knows the system. - Knows what Howe wants from a forward - doesn’t drop deeper than the Atlantic - Doesn’t require the use of a zimmer frame - Is the only forward we have with mobility. The minute he’s capable of 60 mins, I’d be starting him.
