One is 0.001% and the other is 2.5%.

Fairly significant if you ask me.

Speaking of significant figures. If we were take your weekly wage bill figures as gospel then Man U have currently a 34% larger wage bill than Newcastle. That sounds pretty significant to me. Also 5 of top 50 PL earners play for Man U while Bruno G is the only one on that list in spot 47.

Next week you'll be interviewed by Gary Neville pleading poverty..."We're skint Gary"

We're not actually disagreeing that much, except insofar as I think a constant stream of negativity online seeps into the fan base and reinforces those opinions, and enables them to vocalise it. Not least because many of the most passionate supporters will also be online hoovering up whatever content they can.

That trend has polarised opinions and isn't unique to football, because some people increasingly can't see the line that you can and can't cross.

At the end of the day, Geoff, it's not like there's no effort or a bad attitude from him, things just aren't working out for him yet. Maybe he'll make it, maybe he won't and I don't have you down as one of the constant moaners.

Not saying you can't criticise a bad performance on here or elsewhere, just saying he has become a lightning rod for OTT reactions, that's amplified online and then spills into real life.

Howe says fans need to help and support him - that ship has sailed. Stadium groaning at Elanga when he gives the ball to opposition inside his half - that's fair.

Lad can't pass to his teammate, let alone attack and run a full back or god-forbid assist and score.

Elanga would be first to sit there on Sky on those daft interviews, and say how great St James Park is to play in, and how great fans are. We'd certainly be lifting off our seats and roaring him on to attack if he was playing well.

Sadly it's just 40-45k groaning and aghhh'ing 1 in 3 times lad gets the ball. I think that's fair - wouldn't be any easier if he wen't and played in Italy/Turkey

Snazzy meme, I like it.

Do you think fans paying a premium to see a 55M winger have the right to boo the cunt off him?

This is a player that can’t pass to his friends.

Lad needs 50k fans breathing on his neck until he buckles - up to him mentally if can come back?

All our squad our mentality strong - it’s up to Elanga!

Man U didn’t want to keep him. Lad needs to start passing to a friend, then grow some balls and start playing like the 55m winger Howe had a boner on for 2 years.

Elanga is shite, but not this bad.

Andy and Eddie Howe signed Jordan Ibe.

This is a player that can’t pass to his friends. Yes he can. He's just way off form and totally devoid of confidence where even the most basic of play is escaping him.

Lad needs 50k breathing on his neck until he buckles - up to him mentally if can come back. He doesn't "need" 50,000 breathing on his neck. Not sure what the second part of this paragraph means.

Man U didn’t want to keep him. Lad needs to start passing to a friend, then grow some balls and start playing like the 55m winger Howe had a boner on for 2 years. Man Utd didn't want to keep Rashford and McTominay either.

Elanga is shite, but not this bad. Elanga is not shite. But he's playing shite. There's a difference.

Andy and Eddie Howe signed Jordan Ibe. Yes. Every manager to have ever existed and ever will exist will sign at least one dud.

Embarrassing low for the 'support' that king of diplomacy Eddie Howe feels the need to make those comments.

Elanga looks like he thrives off confidence and the last thing he needs is moans going up around the ground when he misfires. Howe wants him to feel free to express himself, and you can't do that if you are worried about making a mistake which will have the ground up in arms.

Unfortunately it's hard to get a crowd like St James to show patience once they have made their mind up. He has to find some way of saying "fuck it, I'm playing my game regardless of what they think."

I can’t be arsed with this lad anymore.

Surely Eddie looks at this lad - who he’s wanted for 2 years.

comes back like a Fanny, gives the ball away 1 in 3 times he gets it.

There is a lad in our academy, or Ben Neave - or Cordero

Why is it we extend 25-30 games of being shit at 55M and 5 years on 100k?

Lewis Miley would have never had 30 games to be shit in. Ben Neave won’t.

Elanga needs to wake up.

I still think he's a good player but the info he needs to learn from eddie is the problem.

Ramsey has took a while aswell to get used to his style and what's expected.

Elanga might be overloaded when you watch him he seems like he doesn't know what he's meant to be doing positionally or whether to take a player on or play inside.

Elanga would get pelters at any other top club. Sure the groaning wont help much, but its difficult to cheer a player who cant do the simplest basics. He seems like a very good guy, but if he cant deal with the pressure hes in the wrong job.

Yee pissed?

yes.

My point still stands - answer it.

Who’s our next academy player? Do you think he has 50 free chances to be be shit like Elanga is. Elanga earns maybe 100k a week.

He is the Alan Smith of my club - from Man U, and donkey.

You cannot spend a fortune on a pacey winger then just stop playing him after five months 😂 he is an investment which we need to find a way of getting some form into.

If getting a few minutes here and there is of no use to his confidence/fitness/sharpness etc - would you be happy to start him and play him for the majority of games despite the risk of not starting the likes of Murphy or Barnes?

He’s been 55m, he can’t pass to a mate,

Elanga has been given 30 games. Do you think an academy player gets 30 shit games in Howe’s first team.

I always think Barca was a bit of a turning point for him and Howe's biggest mistake in terms of man management.

I'd like to see him on the left some time and give him a fresh role to rejuvenate himself.

Not given up hope on him yet but there's a long long way to go to justify this purchase.

Is trx saying we should write off and hound out a bloke Howe spent 2 years chasing and spent £55m on because of a poor half a season?
