There’s no denying his ability. He’s a unique player. He needs time to reach his best form but I’m confident he’ll get there. “Let’s love and enjoy the players we have and help them find their best form. Let’s bring love to all our players.” You think you know somebody. Funny that. I was told the "environment" doesn't matter

Forest fans say he was by far their best set piece taker which suggests he has good technique striking a ball. Trouble is, now the crowd have decided he's rubbish, every little mistake gets criticised triple, which compounds the issue with a guy short of form and confidence. Take the Spurs cup game, he was absolutely fine that game but because he gave the ball away once with a sloppy pass (which pretty much every player does at some point in a game) some poeple were slating his whole performance. Remember Murphy vs Leicester last year - he'd been getting so must shit from the crowd he had a kind of angry reaction to scoring. Then he went on a tear. Just gotta hope Elanga has his Leicester moment soon before he's fully Longstaffed. On the contrary though, I think there's still a decent amount of people who want him to do well. Of course we do. I think tomorrow would be the best opportunity for a while for there to be freedom from pressure. But he has to start doing something - anything - beyond which we've already seen. Perfect oppurtunity to start him against Wolves and rest Gordon for CL where he shines. I also don’t like both starting because it’s leaves minimal impact off the bench. Elanga needs a run of games to play his way into form. Howe can say he needs an environment to express himself, but at same time he needs a run to enable that. Murphy out for a few games is that chance. Knowing he’s starting games will do his confidence more than sitting on bench unknown what situation he will be coming on into and what minute. OverThere
A start would be trapping the ball and passing to someone with the same coloured shirt. Build from doing the basics.
TRon
Howe just needs to put him in the starting line up and tell him to get on with it.

Collage
Good opportunity to start him I'd say, slowly build up his confidence.

That sounds unlikely, we chased him over a year, it's not the sort of thing we would overlook.

Worst defence in the league, give the lad a go and I'd be telling him to just go for it and no back passes just go for it. I guess we'll find out, looking forward to the game. Holloway
I'd go Barnes Wissa Elanga to start for this one
ExiledGeordie
It would be great to see him get a goal and get some confidence back. Really need to get something from him from now to the end of the season. Strikers just need to have their shooting boots on and we should win. Mountain
It's a David Brent line from The Office. And yes it's absolutely hilarious, I almost burst my sides. Hopefully I recover in time for this MASSIVE GAME.

KDT
Needs a run of games and just told that he’s in the starting XI for the next 5 games or so no matter what. Just a shame we can’t afford to do that.
