lovejoy
Much better. The away end were good with him as well, which definitely helped.
Dr.Spaceman
No complaints today, and I think that might be the first time I've said that after watching him in the PL
Sibierski
Low bar, but cleared it. It is like a fat kid in u12s and saying ‘well done’, because they kicked it forward for once.
The Prophet
Could be a confidence building performance, the home crowd should see to that at least.
llcoolc157
Noticed he made a few positive runs without receiving the ball which was good to see… nowt wrong with today… Once he gets that first goal he’ll be up and running, bit like Wissa…. oh, howld on…
nemtizz
£55m on a much needed right winger and we're content he wasn't garbage. I get it but fuck me we're starving.
Aiston
Kind of shows how low the bar is now for Elanga. He wasn't bad, he wasn't anything better than OK either.
KaKa
Just play him in away games going forward till he settles in. Looked far more comfortable and certain of himself away from his home "support", which is pretty tragic really
Geogaddi
Thought he did well when he came on, I would drop Gordon and give Elanga a run in the team. Play him and Barnes on the wings and see what happens, can't be any worse than what's happening now.

He's at Newcastle now, he needs to be told to go out and make things happen regardless of what any supporters think. If he doesn't make it then that's how the cookie crumbles, but he's not going to grow into the role by not playing.
Shearergol
Wasn’t our worst player today, for a change

It's absolutely criminal that Barnes has been shunted out to the right to make room for Gordon on the left. Barnes needs to play on the left regardless but I wouldn't be against doing that and giving Elanga a run on the right. He did ok today when he came on. Probably better than Gordon did. Gola
Had a rather involved and boring dream that we sold Elanga to Spurs for an 'undisclosed fee'. Suspicions were that it was around 25 million and people on here were outraged.

timeEd32
Pretty sure I said in here months ago that just one goal and he'd be a totally different player. He's fallen to depths I didn't imagine back then, but still think it's true. He might actually benefit from our ridiculous fixture list. These away games against the better teams are, in theory, going to lend themselves to his skill set. But he needs to get the weight off his back. alexf
Just mentioned it in another thread but I'd start him tomorrow. He's been absolutely tragic and barely resembled a footballer for months. But he wasn't that bad at the start of the season, just lacked finishing ability. But his pace was causing havoc I seem to remember in certain games, particularly the CL games. It's not worked at all bringing him on late in matches so might aswell start him and let him play himself into form. Saves Gordon or Barnes as the more impactful sub and means they play on their preferred side on the left.
Dr. TC
Decent cameo tonight. Facing a tired defence and a team chasing the game suits him, but unfortunately it's probably when we need him least.

Pilko
Last two cameos he's done the basics right and not made any sloppy short passes. Baby steps, but hopefully he's building towards something.
Checko
thought it was a solid cameo. Pressed with purpose, made some good runs, one nice cross to make a chance.
