Did we deem him too expensive? Was it wage demands? Was it player decision?

I’ll be fuming if we pay anywhere near the reported price. I’d be “ok” with 25-30 for this type of player. Even then I would prefer someone else. Please be a smokescreen.

He's effective like Barnes & Murphy, but don't think he's actually a good player if that makes sense. Gordon has been neither this season, but if he could get his head sorted, that 4 wingers who can contribute a hell of a lot of goals, with 2 options each side (at least) for when form dips & injuries.

 

He's fast as fuck as well. He'd probably be our fastest player. 

 

I think I'm for it. £50m though is as much as it can be though, anything more and we're being milked, again, by Forest.

I’m well up for Elanga. I think he’d be a perfect fit for us. £50m seems about £10-15m too high but you’re not getting value for money in the Premier League.
